Rockin out....
I bought a Sansa Clip. It is so amazing that this little device
can hold all my songs. It is great for bringing to the gym and
rockin' out while on the treadmill or lifting weights.
I also like this song/video-it is fun and happy!!!
The party was nice. I didn't get a chance to eat much food. For some reason, people congregated around the food table and wouldn't budge!
Dispite the phase "excuse me" a break in the human chain proved futile.
I managed to scrape a peanut, and a bit of a tuna wrap. Didn't get a chance to eat any dessert, either. Bummer....

a picture says a thousand words...
Well, I managed to get this blog's Christmas Picture published.. I went to the server side of my FTP and just wrote the URL. It had to be in the same space as my previous picture's URL. Can't change the background, though.
I guess this will be as good as it gets until later.
I am too busy making lemon squares today. I am going to a Holiday Party tonight. This is the first of many parties I will be attending, but the only one where I will be bringing food. The first lemon square recipe I used was given to me by a yoga buddy. But the recipe did not allow for enough filling. Or maybe the recipe was incomplete. I was told everyone liked this recipe (maybe they were just being nice..?) My filling was absorbed by the crust and winded up looking like the crust had been brushed by lemon "stuff". I do think another ingredient was left out.
So, I am making another recipe today. Lemon Cheese Squares. Easy and one step. Looks pretty good. I'll cut them into squares, place on a Holiday tray and I'm good to go...!

would anyone like a lemon square?
For the holidays, there will be no traditional Christmas Cookies. Instead, I will be making lemon squares. I have threee recipes in the can (so to speak) of which one will be decorating my Holiday Table real estate.
I have become fascinated by lemon squares due to tv watching. When watching a family at the dinner table, often the Mom-clad in her pretty apron-asks if anyone would like a lemon square.
Since I am actively trying to recapture some sort of 50's-60's Holiday memories, I am hoping that these lemon squares will resurrect those nostalgic feelings....
I would insert a picture here. If I could. This darn site is in dire need of fixing.
Anyone out there know about Moveable Type and can find it in their heart to help me out???

Darn, I can't even redo my blog for the Christmas Holidays. My templates are all screwed up-I can't even publish my "Flight into Egypt" picture along with the snowflake background.

getting used to the changes...
I am finally back from my vacation. For some reason, I cannot upload my picture file, so there will be no photos regarding this trip.
My trip was a mind altering experience. I am still getting used to the time change, it being 7 hours later where I was. When I was younger, it was no problem to get off the airplane,and go right to work. Now, I spend alot of time in a daze, my internal clock not quite in the proper time zone.
The Holidays are coming much too quickly, and the economy is strained. A quiet Holiday season for me, for sure....
